Fun game to play while listening to RXM Reality's latest release under newly coined pseudonym When 2: try to identify the sources of the sounds you’re hearing. It’s even harder than you'd expect (and I would expect picking out sounds to be difficult already) since each sample plays for maybe a quarter of a second before moving on to the next. Is that an elephant trumpeting? Was that someone screaming? Is an old R&B cassette tape being unspooled by the deck? Was that tab of LSD I just took laced with an upper? Does the fire alarm battery in my basement need replacing? Even if you fail the test you can still enjoy the frantic breakbeats and skittering melodies that make up Here, and they’re sure to tickle the inner folds of your brain matter whether or not you pay active attention.
